Scrum Day Madison 2025: A Big Hit!

Updated: 18 hours ago

Scrum Day Madison 2025 was a big hit this year! This year's event brought together hundreds of Scrum practitioners, Agile leaders, and innovators for a day of learning, collaboration, and fun.

The title sponsor of this year's event was Rezoomex - AI leader and smart contracts innovator. Hosted by Rebel Scrum at the Madison Marriott West on October 16, the event embraced this year’s theme—“Small Steps to Big Value”—a reminder that continuous improvement and incremental delivery lead to powerful results.

A Day Filled with Energy and Insight

The day kicked off with a big surprise: a flash mob performance by the University of Wisconsin Band, setting the tone for an engaging and high-energy event. The morning keynote, “Improvement to the Nth Power,” delivered by Chad Beier and Jeff Bubolz, inspired attendees to amplify their impact through continuous learning and experimentation.

With three keynote speakers and multiple breakout sessions covering Scrum mastery, Product Ownership, and Agile leadership, attendees had the chance to explore practical insights from organizations such as Google and WPS Health Solutions. Sessions like “Simplify Your Scrum Board to Succeed” by Rob Jawor of Endeavor Health and “Agile Product Operating Model” by Eric Naiburg, COO of Scrum.org, were especially well-received.

Here's what people said about this year's event:

  • “It’s a party—and I learn!”

  • “The lunch keynote was amazing, and the topics were great—I wish I could have attended them all!”

  • "I enjoyed the keynote speakers and the opportunity to network. I also enjoyed the lunch, it was nice to have warm, delicious options!"
