Sagar Awate is Speaking at Scrum Day Madison

We sat down with Sagar to learn more about his background, his work with Rezoomex, and what he’ll be sharing at this year’s event.

Scrum Day Madison: Sagar, can you tell us a little about yourself and your experience?

Sagar Awate: Absolutely. I’m an independent consultant and a project/program management leader with over 20 years of experience leading large-scale, strategic initiatives across a wide range of industries—such as financial services, insurance, government, startups, M&A, private equity, and IT, including infrastructure and cybersecurity. I specialize in aligning enterprise strategy with execution, using a mix of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches depending on the situation.

Beyond consulting, I’m also deeply involved in teaching and coaching. I regularly partner with universities, corporations, and industry conferences to train professionals on Agile practices and real-world delivery techniques. What really drives me is helping people make agility actionable and outcome-focused.

Right now, I’m partnering with Rezoomex—a blockchain- and AI-powered platform that helps teams take product ideas all the way to MVP. It does this by combining smart contracts with intelligent work breakdown tools and a global talent network. It’s an exciting space that blends innovation with practical delivery.

Sagar Awate: My session is called Turning Your Next Big Idea into a Real MVP. I’ll be doing a live demo of Rezoomex’s AI-powered bots, showing how they convert raw ideas into strategic roadmaps, user stories, and sprint-ready backlog items. The goal is to demonstrate how teams can use smart contracts and global talent to deliver value faster, smarter, and with confidence.
