Matthew "Matt" Kirchharr, Ed.D. is a researcher, agile practitioner, and financial-services leader who is passionate about helping organizations move beyond simply doing agile to creating environments where agility can thrive. He earned his doctorate in Management and Leadership from Drexel University, where his scholarship focused on leadership, organizational culture, and agility within complex, regulated institutions.

Matt is a Senior Product Portfolio Manager at Navy Federal Credit Union, supporting lean-agile product delivery across multiple portfolios. He is also a founding member of Navy Federal’s Agile Community of Practice, where he helps connect practitioners, encourage knowledge sharing, and strengthen agile ways of working across the organization. With nearly two decades of financial-services experience, Matt brings an uncommon combination of academic insight and practical experience to conversations about leadership, culture, product delivery, and organizational change.
