Scrum Day Madison 2025 is excited to welcome Jeffrey Miller of Axiom as one of this year’s featured speakers.
With more than two decades of experience across software development, integration, deployment, and agile leadership, Jeffrey brings a unique perspective to this year’s event—one that’s truly out of this world. At Axiom Space, he’s part of the team leading efforts to build the world’s first commercial space station, and his talk, Aligning Roadmaps to Build the Future of Space, offers an inside look at how bold visions are made real—one collaborative step at a time.
Jeffrey will explore how building something as complex as a space station isn’t just a technical challenge—it’s a human one. At Axiom, aligning teams, stakeholders, and dependencies across a high-stakes, high-complexity environment required more than just a roadmap; it required shared understanding and intentional collaboration. In this talk, Jeffrey shares how structured roadmap planning helped drive consensus and clarity, keeping teams focused and connected—even when facing the unknown.
Scrum thrives in complexity, and few domains are more complex than space. Jeffrey will highlight how Agile principles, applied at scale, helped Axiom turn a massive, visionary goal into a series of tangible, achievable steps.
Jeffrey brings deep experience to this conversation. Before joining Axiom, he worked with Halliburton and Schlumberger, as well as multiple consulting roles in the legal, medical, and oil and gas sectors. He holds a patent for DecisionSpace GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), a solution deployed across leading oil companies globally. With a background in Liberal Arts and Information Management Systems from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Jeffrey has spent his career exploring how humans and technology can evolve together.
Join us on October 16 to hear from a leader shaping the next frontier of innovation—and discover how aligning your roadmap could bring your own ambitious goals one step closer to reality.
