Unconscious Bias
and its impact on small teams
Unconscious biases are learned stereotypes that are automatic, unintentional, deeply engrained within our beliefs, universal, and have the ability to affect our behavior. In this session, participants will explore common biases and how they impact decision-making and relationship building with particular emphasis on small team interactions and productivity. You’ll discover how your values, culture and experiences affect interactions with colleagues, attitudes about work, and understanding of workplace values. Participants will leave with practical strategies to identify and counter biases, as well as practical tools for building deeper, more robust relationships.
